Waldorf-Inspired Days of the Week Wheel
Waldorf-Inspired Days of the Week Wheel
Learning the days of the week and bring a sense of rhythm, harmony, and joy to your and your child's daily life.
Kids 3+ can start to turn the wheel and synch up with the weekly rhythm based on the colors of the wheel. As they grow up they learn how each day of the week has its own energy based on the planets and luminaries and they can choose how to work with that energy.
Interacting with this wheel helps children understand the cyclical nature of time in a fun, interactive, and visual way. It's also a chance to create a rhythm in their lives where they can connect to and look forward to the particular energies and activities of each day.
Adults love this wheel too! You might be inspired to play with organizing your week based on the energy of that day on the wheel!
This creation was inspired by my oldest son. When he was 4 years old he'd ask me nonstop what day of the week it was. Knowing that each day of the week is also associated with a planet and a particular energy I created a little wheel for him with the planets - his favorite to this day is Blue Day or Saturn for Saturday 💙! He's spun the wheel almost every day since and he's now 6 years old. We're so excited to share this creation with other children.

I got the Waldorf-inspired day of the week wheel and love playing with it with my little one. It has become a morning ritual. We wake up, open the blinds and turn the wheel to the day of the week. Love to start this activity early to gain knowledge and confidence in being in alignment.
