The full moon in Scorpio is exact tomorrow, Friday, November 15 at 4:28pm EDT at 24°.
Full Moons are the peak, a celebration, a revelation. They illuminate that which was hidden at the new moon either 6 months earlier or a couple weeks earlier. They shine a light on any obstacles along the way to what is meant for you or you intended this cycle - perhaps of your healing, given that Scorpio can be an incredible healer.
What a potent time we live in. The Taurus Moon is reflecting the Scorpio Sun.
What has been illuminated for you that can't be unseen?
Maybe take a look at 24° of Taurus in your chart.
The moon is also almost conjunct Uranus in Taurus. Uranus has been shaking things up in Taurus - the Earth, our physical body, our resources, values - since May 2018 and will remain until April 2026.
What keeps coming to me is a return to wholeness and to inner peace. And we get there when we have reverence for the body, and, in turn, Mother Earth.
Taurus is Fixed Earth and ruled by Venus. It represents our great Mother Earth. It can also be the body. This is a feminine sign and also the bull - physical strength, commitment, determination, stubbornness ;). I always think of Taurus as the bull in The Story of Ferdinand. All he wanted was to sit in his pasture, under the cork treat and smell the flowers.
Its medicine is through the body, the senses - taste, touch, hearing, smell, sight. Taurus reminds us to revel in the body. And when we connect with nature, which reminds us of all that we have within - the abundance, the beauty, the resources for a life well lived - we connect with the body and the body receives and remembers its truest needs.
It's all about simplicity. That is the way of the Taurus.
And when I recently made a very spontaneous decision to go to my favorite - and only - spot where I always can fully let go (it's a state park with a river near where I live here in TX), I was reminded that when we can immerse ourselves in nature, we are reminded of our own true nature, which is peace.
As my whole being slowed to the slow steady loving frequency of the Earth, of Nature, everything softened and I returned to peace. I returned to a state of healing in my body.
It's here in this state that healing can happen. We can take the medicine, we can get the treatment, but it's only when we shift our whole being into a state of receivership, into a state in which we feel deeply worthy of love, of the joy and bliss, that we so desire, that we fully open ourselves up to healing.
As I keep choosing the river, choosing to take 35 mins for a Yoga Nidra practice, choosing to stand outside barefoot gazing at the sun, and connecting with God and my Higher Self, regardless of the weather conditions (grateful for the temps in TX right now!), choosing to feel the big emotions that arise and letting them move, choosing to forgive myself when I have a conditioned autopilot response to a trigger, choosing to surrender to divine guidance and relinquishing the need to control, choosing to walk toward life, I let go of so much conditioning, I let go of how I think I'm supposed to be, what I think I'm supposed to do, and who I think I am or need to be, in order to live a more beautiful life than I can possibly imagine.
I'm calling in joy. I'm calling in living pain-free. I'm calling in a feeling of utter bliss in my whole body. And knowing I am worthy.
When my Taurus Sun and Rising firstborn son was 4 he would say "I just want to laugh and have fun."
Kids are such pure reflection of the Love, the Light and the Divinity within each of us.
And so on this full moon I leave you with his simple words and remind you to trust that whatever this moon is illuminating for you is for your highest. Heed its wisdom. Heed the wisdom of our Mother Earth.
Taurus loves her comforts, but sometimes we can get stuck in attaching ourselves too much to the comfort of the familiar.
Ask yourself, are you here to grow or be safe in your comforts? We're all going through all kinds of growing pains right now. We are being undone.
And if it feels overwhelming, or impossible, choose to look toward nature for the answers.
I promise you 1 hour digging your hands in the earth, gazing at the clouds, listening to nature's sounds, grounding your feet in the earth, swimming in a natural body of water, hiking and taking in the fresh air, smelling the scent of flowers in a garden or a pot of soup on the stove, savoring your first sip of cacao, soup, tea, smoothie or your own special elixir of choice, an extra long hug from a friend or loved one, a lover's touch, your own touch will bring you back to what's real, and back into your body, back into the pleasure of this human experience.
PREGNANCY & MOTHER EARTH
I have to say this is the whole idea behind my Pregnancy Journal. If you or someone you know is pregnant this is a beautiful gift that helps prepare their body and mind for birth and enjoy their pregnancy even more. It's also a wonderful keepsake. Find the three options - pregnancy journal, birth and postpartum guide, and postpartum journal - here about half way down the page.
So much love to you. Thank you so much for reading.
