Good digestion is the keystone to good health and feeling well in your body. But what you eat is not the whole story when it comes to the health of your digestive system. The state of the nervous system is a major contributor and there are little actions we can take to keep our digestive system healthy and in flow. In this yoga and food workshop, we'll explore all the ways you can improve your digestion so you can feel good from the inside out As Mother Nature hits the refresh button and we enter a new season, take the time to do so as well with yoga, a nourishing meal, and good company.
As part of this hands-on workshop you will:
learn how to relax the body and activate the parasympathetic nervous system for optimal digestion
stimulate your digestive system and bring on a relaxation in the body and mind with an all levels yoga practice (sequence designed specifically to aid digestion)
learn about the ways you can calm the nervous system down between and before meals
enjoy a nourishing Springtime meal and cooking demo
Each participant will receive recipes and a handout so you can keep your digestive system on point all season long.
