A five week series of classes to help women journey through pregnancy with ease and grace. Each class includes gentle prenatal yoga, a dash of meditation, and time for group discussion around a topic or experience from the previous week. Discussion topics may include self-care practices, mind-body nutrition to support the woman and baby (foods & recipes), and connecting with your partner or other women. This workshop is meant to serve women entering or who have recently entered motherhood.
The prenatal period and the first 3 months postpartum, otherwise known as the 4th trimester, is a time when a woman experiences heightened sensitivity to her surroundings and when taking care of herself so she can take the best care of her baby is of greatest importance. Together we will embrace this sensitive, life-changing, and unique time period and integrate rituals and practices that will serve the mother and, in turn, her growing family.
This workshop is designed to help the woman create space to feel and understand her emotions, develop self-care rituals for physical stamina and strength, as well as mental and emotional balance, and, finally, develop deep and supportive connections with other women going through this journey.
As long as we have the tools and habits to take good care of ourselves holistically, we can create the conditions for not only an easeful and fulfilling pregnancy, but a balanced, mindful, and nourishing postpartum and beyond. We are setting the stage for a healthy, and rewarding first year of becoming a mother, to help you embrace motherhood with all the right tools and support.
The morning will consist of
a short yoga practice for all levels
self-massage with Yoga Tune-Up balls
a group exercise that will introduce participants to the benefits of daily practice for sustainable well-being
A nourishing snack will be provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies or sensitivities. Please wear comfortable clothing/layers, a journal and a pen.

Motherhood can be unexpected, joyful, exhausting and sometimes, tedious. Reconnect to your body and unique essence in the company of other women in a gorgeous and welcoming setting.
Enjoy a restorative half day retreat and workshop that includes a 60 minute yoga class, a guided meditation to restore and inspire you, and an introduction to daily life practices to stabilize and enliven your well-being. You’ll learn simple rituals to bring more harmony into your day.
A nourishing vegetarian lunch will be provided by Aran Goldstein of Noah’s Table. This retreat is ideal for mothers, mothers-to-be, and any woman who wishes to connect with mother energy and wisdom.
